we shed what was left of our summer skin

yeah. i'm not ready to let summer go. and i wish i was doing something epic during the end of it. but no, i'm just finishing up summer school. great. i might see if my grandma wants to go to borders with me. that would be fun.

Backseat Goodbye, Ladybug Landslide, and more (08/02/08)

So I must say that last night was so much fun! it was sooo hot out though! we walked inside to pay, and chad was like BAM right there. i was like woahh!! i thought he was more "famous" or whatever. lol. but as soon as we got in, this guy came up and was like oh hai who are you? lol, it was fun. meredith and i ended up becoming bffs with that guy, haha. anyway, i went to the merch tables and stuff, and it was fun. i got ladybug's cd. im listening to it now, it's good! anyway, so we waited outside, cause it was hot! but yeah. the first singer we saw was REALLY good! his "band" or whatever is called A Timely Embrace. we kind of hung with him afterwards, he was kind of shy. then was this rock band called The Story Changes played. they were pretty good and stuff. we went outside after every band. then was ladybug, who was AMAZING, duh. then was aim for the skies, but we just stayed outside, cause they weren't the best, lol. chilled with marshall lee (ladybug) for a bit. he's a sweetie. then was backseat, so we went inside for that, duh. it was sooo good. he was making fun of zach during technicolor eyes (the who are you guy) so yeah. it was so hilarious! hahahah. and yeah...my dad came RIGHT at the end of backseat, so i asked for his setlist, and i got it! :D i feel lucky to have gotten it, haha. then then then.. idk. i forgot to get my poster that i got from ladybug..so i'm mad. and we had an opportunity to go to spinellis(pizza) for an after party, but idk.. i just felt uncomfortable..but now today, looking back on it, i wish that i had gone. ='( im pretty bummed about that. but yeah. i must say that it had to be one of the best nights of my life, for real. i enjoyed it. :D

p.s. there was a lot of "that's what she said.." and stuff. chad was really funny, but shy. and during his set, he was like "what if instead of saying 'woo' after a song, people said random words...like 'ccccroooockkkidile'" hahah. then people started screaming random ass words. haahha, someone was like "SPIDERMAN!" haha, and then i was looking at chad's pictures, and he's in a spiderman suit. lol.

i'm so so so sad she's leaving though.
who will i be able to talk to about warped, or who will be the one to actually ASK about how it went!?
idk. blah. just one week..and i'll be busy, so that'll be good.

i'm excited
she always spends the night over here, hahaha.

today i have a lot of cleaning to do
and summer school
and going to target (again) to get (more) clothes

warped is wednesday. so so so so so excited!!! i'm going to spend TOO much money though. holy cow.

and then i still need to work on summer school, which i haven't really even started? ='( that's the one thing i'm stressed about. majorly.

anyway, yeah. i'm going to be so super busy

today is MY day

tonight's the benefit concert
i cannot tell you how excited i am
even though i wont be there
i'm helping people in a way
and giving people hope to know that
fibromyalgia IS a real disease,
and not all in your head, and
that many many people go through it on a daily
basis. :] and i am so thankful for Jennifer Hill.
and the three other bands that are helping
her with this, and just everyone working on it
i'm so happy about this. eeek!!


anyways, i'm going to warped!! i'm way excited. i need to do odd jobs though. or i need money, ahah. i want a few shirts and such. michelle comes back (again) from camp today! yay! eek. i'm so happy now, hehehehehh. wee, yay.

i think candice is coming over today!! yesss. i'm looking for a ring/necklace with a fleur de leis. or a simple clada(sp?) ring. i miss mine.

today is going to be good, even though i woke up at four and almost threw up, lol. i'm good now!
